The Need

Two generations. One crisis.

Every day, 5,700 children wake up and discover they are alone. No parent. No home. No one coming for them. And across the world, millions of elders wake to empty rooms with no one to share their morning. These are not statistics from another world. They are real people. Right now.

What if we connected them?

What if a child's first teacher was an elder who chose to be there?

What if an elder's last chapter was defined not by isolation, but by a small hand reaching for theirs?

What if the answer to two of the world's most painful problems, children growing up alone and seniors growing old alone, was each other?

Where no one grows up, and no one grows old, alone. Rifka's House
Our Mission

Healing, belonging, and purpose.

Rifka's House exists to create a place of healing, belonging, and purpose for children, families including single parents, and seniors through intergenerational living, education, and faith-centered support.

We extend this mission beyond our physical sanctuary by providing access to trusted care, guidance, and support through a network of aligned therapists, mentors, and resources, serving individuals and families wherever they are.

Our Vision

A global model of restoration.

To build a global model of healing and community where individuals and families are supported both in person and from anywhere in the world. A place where faith-centered care, meaningful relationships, and shared purpose restore lives across generations.

The model is intentionally simple, intentionally human, and intentionally replicable. What we build here is meant to be built again, and again.

How we begin

From pilot to permanence.

Rifka's House is being built in phases. The community begins now, in shared homes. Over time, it grows into a permanent farm sanctuary.

Phase One  ·  Active

The Pilot.

We launch in apartment-based intergenerational households, where children, women, and seniors live as one extended family with a nearby communal gathering space.

Phase Two  ·  Future

The Sanctuary.

The community grows into a permanent farm sanctuary in Egypt, with onsite family residences, a communal building, and the working orchard at its center.

The Four Pillars of Our Model

Physician-led. Faith-centered. Built to scale.

Our framework is designed to nurture mind, body, and spirit. Generations are woven together through four integrated pillars.

01  ·  Wellness & Sports

Health and mental wellness for every age.

Physician-led health and mental wellness programs centering child development alongside senior care. Physical activity and emotional resilience for every age.

02  ·  Heritage & The Arts

Cultural storytelling and shared traditions.

Preserving cultural traditions through storytelling, the culinary arts, dance, music, and countless forms of artistic expression. A child learning to bake their first batch of baklava. A senior sharing a legacy story.

03  ·  Education & Mentorship

Lifelong learning and wisdom sharing.

A lifelong learning hub where seniors share wisdom with children, while high school and college students engage in vocational internships and leadership development. Early childhood enrichment rooted in mentorship.

04  ·  Innovation & Leadership

Curiosity, technology, and leadership.

A replicable environment where curiosity, technology, and leadership development converge. A living lab that empowers children to think critically, lead with integrity, and become future leaders of their communities.

The Sanctuary

A fortress of belonging.

The sanctuary sits on a working mango orchard in Egypt — the place we call our Mango Farm Village. The orchard offers fresh produce, open spaces for activities, and a connection to the land that grounds our community.

Every cluster, every courtyard, every shared meal is arranged with intention.

  • Residential Cluster HomesChildren and elders live in a shared rhythm. The hearth of the sanctuary.
  • Professional StaffSocial workers, tutors, and physician-led oversight ensure comprehensive care for every resident.
  • The Mango Farm VillageBoth classroom and livelihood. Residents learn agricultural stewardship through our artisan products.
